Hygiene Team Leader

£13.90 per hour

Monday to Friday 22:00pm to 06:00am

Reporting into the Hygiene Manager, you will help manage and achieve the cleaning schedules ensuring that standards are maintained in a cost effective manner. You will understand and ensure that the team follow compliance standards daily. To follow GMP, HACCP and Allergen controls and always maintaining the Health and Safety and the welfare of all staff members and yourself.

As a Hygiene Team leader you must have:

• Proven machine/ plant operating experience typically gained within a FMCG environment.
• Experience of working in a unionised environment/ working environment/ worker council.
• Knowledge of production planning processes.
• Knowledge of retailer standards and how to control quality in a food manufacturer.
• Experience of performance management and people development techniques.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
• Lean manufacturing techniques and ability to apply in live situations (desirable).
• Manufacturing and/or Management qualification, Level 3 or above (desirable).
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday 22:00pm to 06:00am. Flexibility will be required within your normal working week to meet business requirements which will change from time to time and may result in the company requiring you to work alternative shifts.
